Influence of weather conditions and sowing dates on the duration of interphase periods of spring triticale under Amur region conditions

The choice of optimal sowing date is still one of the most important elements of modern cultivation technology, since it is determined by the features of plant physiology and weather conditions of their growth. The problem of studying the influence of weather conditions on the passing of the interphase periods of crops, including triticale is an important task for its introduction into production. That is why , we set a target to study the effect of sowing dates and weather conditions on the duration of the interphase periods of various spring triticale varieties under conditions of the Amur Region. As a result, it was found that in the first half of the growing season, starting from seedlings to leaf-tube formation, when shifting the sowing date from April 15 to May 5, the interphase periods are lengthened, and the inverse trend is observed for the next periods. Statistical analysis of the influence of hydrothermal conditions in the years of research on the passing of the interphase periods showed that the formation of future yield in the first half of the growing season (from sowing to tillering) was mainly related to the temperature regime, and in the second half of the growing season (from earing to full ripeness), with the amount of rainfall.
