The yield of various varieties of lettuce grown in hydroponic conditions

The study is aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of growing various varieties of lettuce using flow hydroponics in protected soil. The following varieties of lettuce were studied: cabbage with an oily leaf (Gauguin, Fairlie, Santoro, Aquino, Casey), semi-rolled with a crispy leaf (Dunstar, Frillis, Extemp, Exact, Skilton), leafy (Lalique, Jokari, Litska, Rosaline, Alzevir, Xerafin). The experiments were conducted in the conditions of the Yelets district of the Lipetsk region in the conditions of the greenhouse of I.A. Bunin YSU. The assessment of product quality helped to identify the main productive varieties recommended for cultivation in protected soil by the method of flow hydroponics. For all-season cultivation: Casey, Gauguin, Dunstar, Alzevir, Jokari, Litska, for the autumn–winter period - Exact, for the spring-summer period – Extemp.
