The effect of leguminous lectins on the yield of spring wheat

The biological activity of bean lectin solutions on wheat seedlings was studied in order to activate the growth and protective reactions of wheat seedlings of the Daria variety. It was found that the most effective solution is a solution of lectins of beans in a concentration of 10-7%. The effect of these biologically active substances on soaking wheat seeds showed activation of antioxidant peroxidase enzymes and a decrease in catalase activity, which indicates high plant viability. Lectin solutions increase the weight of 100 seeds and yield by 30%.
