The study of the elemental status of the population of various industrial areas as an indicator of environmental pollution

Today, studies of the content and effect of chemical elements on the body are relevant. It is especially important to conduct such research in areas exposed to negative environmental factors (for example, industrial pollution of the atmosphere, soil pollution with chemicals, etc.). At the same time, fluctuations in the content of trace elements in the environment inevitably affect living organisms, including humans. Thus, the accumulation of toxic chemical elements in environmental objects is highly likely to lead to an imbalance in the elemental composition of the human body. At the same time, there is not only an excess content of heavy metals, but also a deficiency of essential trace elements. All this affects human health, body functioning, immunity, etc. Therefore, the accumulation of chemical elements in the human body should be investigated in order to correct the elemental status. Also, the assessment of the content of elements in the human body and its individual biosubstrates can serve to monitor the environmental situation in a particular territory.
