Comparative characteristics of the soy collection VIR in the conditions of the Lower Volga region

The evaluation of soybean varieties of the world collection of the N.I. Vavilov VIR was carried out according to economically valuable characteristics in the conditions of the Lower Volga region. The most precocious samples were identified by the duration of the vegetation period and interphase periods. Soybean cultivars with the highest height, the maximum weight of seeds per plant, the weight of 1000 seeds and high biochemical qualities of seeds were noted. Genotypes with an optimal combination of the studied traits for further use in various areas of breeding work are identified.
