Assessment of phytotoxicity of recultivated oil-contaminated soils by the method of seedlings

The article presents the results of assessing the phytotoxicity of oil-contaminated soils after reclamation measures. Phytotoxicity was assessed by the method of seedlings, the results of seed germination, the total phytomass of the test culture and the phytotoxic effect were taken into account. The use of a test culture on recultivated oil-contaminated soil made it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of recultivation measures. The conducted studies have shown that recultivation of oil-contaminated soil by mechanical method is not effective enough and needs additional cleaning.
