The influence of the state and level of mechanization means on the sowing qualities of soybean seeds

The volume of the future harvest largely depends on the sowing qualities of the seeds. At the same time, it should be noted that the sowing qualities are largely formed in the process of harvesting, overloading, transportation and many other operations, which sometimes are not given sufficient attention. In recent years, agricultural producers have mainly used foreign-made seed material, and therefore the issue of the influence of the state and level of mechanization means on the sowing qualities of seeds has not been considered to a certain extent. At the same time, the need to achieve complete food security of the country determines the need to introduce new, previously unused, or abandoned acreage into crop rotation. Thus, the observed increase in acreage has led to an increase in the required amount of seed material and an increase in domestic demand for seed reproduction. However, due to the logistical and financial difficulties that arose as a result of external sanctions and the urgent need for enterprises in the period 2021-2022, seeds that did not meet the sowing qualities were often used for sowing due to an acute shortage of high-quality imported material. The article presents the results of research to determine the impact of the state and level of labor mechanization tools on the sowing qualities of soybean seeds and provides directions for their improvement.
