Improving the technology of primary seed production of late-ripening forms of radishes (black radish, loba, daikon) of autumn ripening in the Non-Black Earth zone of the Russian Federation

Representatives of the genus Raphanus contain a relatively small number of seeds in fruits, which entails an increase in the number of plants, an increase in the labor intensity when propagating original and elite seeds to ensure industrial seed production of first-generation hybrids or reproductive seeds of the variety. In order to maintain a high level of seed sowing qualities, it is necessary to observe the technological parameters in the original and elite seed production. The purpose of this work was to improve the technology of original seed production, by developing optimal parameters of sowing dates, sowing schemes and herbicide concentrations to obtain healthy, completed stackings, from which seeds are subsequently obtained. The studies were carried out on isogenic pairs of daikon, loba, and black radish lines (sterile line and sterility fixer line). When growing black radish, loba, daikon shtecklings in a film unheated greenhouse with subsequent transplanting into the open ground at the hybridization site, the optimal sowing period is from mid-February to mid-March, the sowing scheme is 30x30 cm, the consumption of the herbicide "Butizan 400" is 0.4...0.5 l / ha.
