Efficiency of the d-240 diesel engine by adding a water-methanol mixture to the air supply system

In this article, we have reviewed the process of supplying methanol to the diesel engine power system. The scheme of water-methanol supply to the air supply system of the d-240 engine was presented. The selection of nozzles was carried out, for the best dispersed spray at an operating pressure of 7MPa, the supply of water-methanol to each nozzle was adjusted at an average liquid flow rate of 30 ml / minute. The next stage of development of our development will begin with laboratory tests of the working model.
