The content of gross forms of nutrition elements and pH in modern and buried soils of the Inozemtsevo mound

The research was carried out in the Mineralovodsk district of the Stavropol Territory near the village of Inozemtsevo. The age of the burial mound is about 5 thousand years. In the immediate vicinity of the mound at a distance of 100 meters, an incision was laid on the virgin soil of modern soils and examined in detail. Paleosols are classified as weakly saline fused low-power medium-clay chernozems on the indigenous weakly weathered Maykop clays of marine genesis, and modern soils as medium-saline fused medium-thick medium-clay chernozems on the eluvium of the Maykop deposits. Modern soils are characterized by depletion of total forms of phosphorus and potassium, especially in the upper horizons. The total nitrogen content is expected to be lower due to the mineralization of humus and the absence of organic matter entering preserved and buried soils. During the second half of the Holocene, acidification of the upper and significant alkalinization of the lower soil horizons occurs.
