The paper proves that the formation of soil properties (ΣУ) is determined by a combination of rock properties (ΣП) and the weight of the influence of soil formation factors (Xi) on the rock (Ki) and the duration of their influence (t): ΣУ = ΣP ·ΣKiXit
It is proposed to take into account, as factors of soil formation, the geophysical fields of the Earth and the microbiological activity of soils. The properties, processes and regimes of soils change over time and in space, the hysteresis of their change is manifested, the open loop of which is inversely proportional to the degree of equilibrium of the combination of soil properties with the influence of the environment.
