Accumulation of heavy metals by leaves Parthenocissus guinguefolia L.

The ability of some species of vines to be biologically resistant to a number of negative factors of urban conditions, such as the increased concentration of heavy metals in soils and the environment, gas pollution and lack of area of nutrition and growth, makes them a priority in green construction. As a result of the studies, it was found that the most common species for vertical landscaping in the east of the Rostov region is Parthenocissus guinguefolia L. The nature of the accumulation of heavy metals by Parthenocissus guinguefolia L. leaves depends on the concentration of TM in the environment and the degree of anthropogenic load. In urban conditions, the highest concentration of lead, zinc and copper in the leaves is recorded in the upper part of the vines. And cadmium accumulates in the leaves of the lower part under increased anthropogenic loads. At a height of 60 cm to 120 cm on all test areas there is a minimum accumulation of heavy metals in the leaves of the girl's five-source grape.
