Study of the surface water treatment process in the conditions of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic

The article proposes various options for solving the problem of high-quality water treatment, in particular, a reagentless four-stage one. After the first stage of purification using an acoustic clarifier, the filter block of which is filled with a glass filter and an adsorbent in the form of activated carbon, the color of the water is reduced by 22%, turbidity - by 88%, the concentration of total iron - by 28.3%, suspended solids - by 37.2%. After the second stage of the ozonation block, the water quality changed slightly according to the specified indicators, after the third and fourth stages of water purification, the levels corresponding to the requirements of SanPiN were reached.
