Data transmission of operational dispatch information from a remote transformer substation with a voltage of 110/10 kV

This article analyzes the possibility of using wireless communication channels to transmit operational and dispatching information from the 110/10 kV PS to the control room. A comparative analysis of satellite and GSM communication channels for 110/10 kV PS located in a sparsely populated area. According to the results of the analysis of the reliability of both communication channels, the satellite communication channel is determined as the most suitable. Its integration into the substation data collection and transmission system is planned.
