Influence of the composition of substrates and growth regulators on seed germination and dynamics of height change annual flower crops

Obtaining high-quality seedlings of annual flower crops is one of the tasks of modern floriculture. This article discusses the issues of the influence of growth regulators and the substrates used on the growth and development of plants. It has been established that both marigold varieties have 100% seed germination in all variants of the experiment. When vermiculite and coconut fiber are added to peat, it also helps to increase the germination of seeds of the studied crops, in the range of 90-95%. Phenological observations showed that the emergence of seedlings in both variants of the experiment corresponded to the standard indicators characteristic of each crop. The timing of the beginning of flowering of marigolds came 40-45 days after sowing the seeds. The dynamics of changes in plant height is most noticeable in the variant of the experiment with the use of growth regulators.
