Heavy metals and technogenic magnetic particles of soils of the recreational territory of the city Perm (example of the Chapayevskaya ecological trail)

The work focuses on the study of soils on the territory of the Chapaevskaya ecological trail in the city of Perm (Russia). The studied soils are subject to contamination by technogenic magnetic particles and heavy metals in their composition. The forest litter of the urbanity gray humus soil formed on the eluvial-deluvial deposits is contaminated with Cd, Cu, Ni, Co, and Zn. The urbanity gray humus horizon accumulates Cu and Zn. The values of the magnetic susceptibility of the highly magnetic phase of the surface horizon are high. The maximum value of the magnetic susceptibility of the forest litter was 55.64 × 10-3 SI. The bulk content of heavy metals and Fe in the highly magnetic phase is several times higher than in the soil before magnetic separation.
