Study of some morphobiological features of photoperiodically neutral forms of sugar sorghum

The article presents the results of research on the study of morphobiological features (number and length of internodes of the main stem, plant height, number of leaves, interphase period "shoots-flowering") and productivity of biomass, seeds of sugar sorghum. This is a drought-resistant productive crop of universal use. The parameters that make up the productivity of photoperiodically neutral varieties and hybrids of selection of RosNIISK "Rossorgo" have been determined. Based on the studied breeding and valuable traits and agro-climatic conditions of the Saratov region, geographically related to the northern border of sorghum, a model of a variety and a hybrid of sugar sorghum is presented when grown for technical purposes.
