Method for calculating the content of toxic components in the exhaust gases of internal combustion engines operating on natural gas and biogas fuel

Biogas is an alternative source of energy , now it can also be used as a fuel for diesel internal combustion engines with spark ignition engines. In this arti-cle the biogas produced by cattle manure . The biogas produced was enriched and compressed to the level of natural gas. The article describes the method of calcula-tion of the equilibrium composition of the combustion products offered by profes-sor Zvonova V.A. For a more accurate calculation of the concentration of nitrogen oxide (NOx) in this technique should make additions in the form of kinetic equa-tions Zeldovich. Also shows the method of calculating the indicators of toxicity bi-ogas combustion engine and shows comparison of calculation results with the ex-perimental data. Thus, we can observe the pattern of emissions of combustion products into the atmosphere. The results showed that this fuel is responsible for the composition of the emissions standard, and the State is an environmentally friendly fuel . The use of biogas as a fuel for internal combustion gasoline engines will conserve natural resources and improve the eco- logical and economic status of the Republic of Sakha ( Yakutia) and Russia as a whole.
