The analysis of literary sources for the presence of monogenic, oligo and polygenic traits of cucumber (Cucumis sativus) was carried out. Valuable crop diseases include high yield, genetic absence of fruit bitterness, evenness, as well as cases of biotic and abiotic diseases.
