The influence of biological products on the processes of ensiling and the energy value of succulent feed from grain sorghum and amaranth

The article describes an experiment on ensiling fodder crops: grain sorghum and amaranth in various ways using biological preparations. The positive effect of biological products on the process of acid formation, including lactic acid, has been proven. It is noted that during self-preservation in succulent feed, butyric acid can form over time, in amounts that are unacceptable when feeding animals. The dynamics of exchange energy during storage was analyzed and different results were obtained for each experimental batch of silos. Recommendations are made on the use of the biopreservative AiBi 15.10 F for ensiling grain sorghum and its mixture with amaranth, and the biological preparation BIO-SIL for ensiling amaranth.
