Ecological assessment of the influence of copper on the growth and development of spring wheat plants

The article presents the results of studying the influence of various concentrations of copper on the growth and development of spring wheat plants and its environmental assessment. It was found that copper contamination up to 10 MPC Cu significantly slows down the growth and development of spring wheat plants. The use of diatomite (highly siliceous rock) at the same time makes it possible to significantly reduce the toxic effect of high concentrations of copper in the soil solution on plant development.
