Plants of the Central Asian flora exposition of the Main Botanical Garden RAS, listed in the Red data books of the IUCN and the states of the region

The collection of plants of Central Asia is the oldest in the exposition of the Laboratory of Natural Flora of the MBG of RAS. Currently, the collection includes 169 species (231 specimens) belonging to 88 genera belonging to 37 families. The collection includes 22 species listed in the Red Data Books of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) and the states of the region: Abies sibirica subsp. semenovii (B.Fedtsch.) Farjon, Allium aflatunense B.Fedtsch., A. pskemense B.Fedtsch., Berberis karkaralensis Kornil. & Potapov, Eremurus lactiflorus O.Fedtsch., E. robustus (Regel) Regel, Euonymus nanus M.Bieb. [Syn.: Euonymus koopmannii Lauche], Fritillaria eduardii A.Regel ex Regel, Hedlundia turkestanica (Hedl.) Mezhenskyj [Syn.: Sorbus turkestanica (Franch.) Hedl.], Juglans regia L., Juniperus seravschanica Kom., Lilium martagon L., Malus domestica (Suckow) Borkh. [Syn.: M. niedzwetzkyana Dieck, M. sieversii (Ledeb.) M. Roem.], Paeonia intermedia C.A.Mey., Prunus armeniaca L. [Syn.: Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.], Pyrus asiae-mediae (Popov) Maleev, P. tadshikistanica Zaprjagaeva, Rheum wittrockii C.E.Lundstr., Silene coronaria (L.) Clairv. [Syn.: Coronaria coriacea (Moench) Schischk. et Gorschk.], Tulipa greigii Regel, T. kaufmanniana Regel, Tulipa urumiensis Stapf [T. tarda Stapf]. According to the integrated indicator of introduction resistance, all tested species can be classified as weakly resistant (4 species) and resistant (18 species) under culture conditions.
