Influence of burial age on the soil enzyme activity in cemeteries of Bataysk

Cemeteries are an integral part of any city's infrastructure development. They occupy vast areas, but still remain poorly studied. Original ecosystems are formed on these territories, which can be refugiums for animals, plants and soils. The aim of the work was to determine the effect of burial age on the enzymatic activity of cemetery soils. The time range from the time of burial was from 1 year to 72 years. As a result, it was found that the maximum activity of enzymes is confined to the surface layer of soils. Invertase activity has the greatest dependence on the time from the moment of burial.
