Soil in the biosphere and in modern Russian law. Message 5. Implementation of legislation on reproduction of soil fertility and use of soil resources in agriculture

Russia has a unique national wealth - soil resources. It is shown that it is necessary to have comprehensive information about the state of arable soils, of which there are no more than 92 million hectares in circulation. The loss of potential fertility and degradation processes are intensifying, which determines the limits of further growth of the agricultural sector of the economy. Currently, their results are already clearly revealed by the results of agrochemical surveys. For a long time there has been an obvious negative balance of elements of mineral nutrition of plants on Russian arable land. The volume of application of agrochemical agents is estimated. On the example of grain crops, the rates of alienation of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium with commercial and by-products are shown. Regulatory legal documents defining the conduct of agricultural production and the formation of a sustainable food system within the framework of the requirements of low-carbon development of the country and the principles of ESG have been studied. It is shown how they are implemented in real practice. A system of possible measures to correct the situation and transition to regenerative agriculture is considered.
