Mapping of indicators of soil fertility by means web technologies

The article describes the development of the client part of the cartographic application of soil fertility indicators based on Internet mapping technology. The purpose of the research is to develop a standard web map for presenting the results of soil surveys. The object of web mapping is the soil cover of the fields of «Zarya», Sivinsky District, Perm Region. The total area of the fields presented in the web application is 2425.4 hectares. As the main tool for Internet mapping, open geotechnologies implemented in the QGIS geoinformation system were used - a module for creating a web map from the GIS project «qgis2web». An additional tool is the Brackets universal code editor, with the help of which the display of soil properties in a pop-up window has been improved and block design elements have been added for a web mapping site. To host a web map on a server, a free GitHub platform was chosen, the consideration of which features at the development stage of a GIS project is also described in this article.
