Use of energy indicator in evaluation of methods for pre-sowing treatment of seed material

One of the ways to increase the yield of agricultural crops is the high-quality processing of seed. Currently, there is a wide variety of methods and methods of pre-sowing seed treatment. At the same time, it should be noted that the main goal of all these methods of pre-sowing treatment is aimed at stimulating plant growth, and only a small part is allocated for disinfection from seed infections. At the same time, it is necessary not to forget that it is seed infections that pose an extreme danger to crop seeds, since they can not only reduce yields, but also completely destroy it. The most common method of combating seed infections in most cases is chemical treatment. It should be noted that harmful seed infections are located not only on the surface, which can be removed by dressing, but also inside seeds, against which this method is ineffective. Based on the foregoing, much attention has recently been paid to the search for new methods of seed processing alternative to the chemical method. At the same time, it is necessary not to forget that when choosing a method of pre-sowing treatment, it is necessary to take into account the cost factor in order to reduce the total cost of agricultural production. The presented article presents the results of studies on the use of energy costs in assessing the methods of pre-sowing treatment of seed material.
