Spatial modeling of the magnetic susceptibility of soils in multi-storey residential buildings in the city of Lysva (Sredneye Predural'ye)

The article presents the results of spatial modeling of the magnetic susceptibility of soils in the city of Lysva, Perm region. The purpose of the research is to perform spatial modeling of the magnetic susceptibility of soils in the territory of multi-storey buildings in the residential part of the city of Lysva. The research area covers a plot of multi-storey residential buildings with a total area of 8.4 km2. Spatial modeling was carried out by geostatistical and determinative methods based on 145 points. As a result of cross-validation, it was found that the most reliable interpolation method is "Ordinary Kriging". Therefore, the geostatistical raster obtained by this tool was used to establish the boundaries of contaminated areas. Within the boundaries of the identified areas, the content of heavy metals was analyzed. According to the data obtained, areas with high magnetic susceptibility of soils contain heavy metals in concentrations exceeding the standards.
