Research results on the use of tractor units in technological work

In small peasant farms (KFH), when harvesting, an important task is the timely removal of products from the fields. It is necessary to take into account the factor that, as a rule, for such farms, the sown areas (for example, the Amur Region) are located in hard-to-reach places and represent finely contoured areas with a high level of slope, which entails additional difficulties, since the use of road transport in October is difficult due to - for the weak bearing capacity of the soil. This is due to the fact that during this period up to 60% of all annual precipitation falls, and the presence of an underlying clay layer does not allow the moisture accumulated in the soil layer to go into the depths. One of the solutions in these conditions is the use of wheeled tractors of class 1.4, as the most demanded and in large quantities in peasant farms in the region, for transport operations. However, the use of these tractors with one trailer for the removal of crops from the fields is not economically profitable, and the use of a second trailer is simply impossible due to the limited width of field roads, especially in turns. It is possible to solve the stated problem by using additional devices that make it possible to adjust the width of the transport corridor and the trajectory of the tractor unit (TA) when cornering. The presented article presents the results of studies on optimizing the width of the transport corridor when the TA passes turns by installing additional devices that allow correcting the trajectory of the TA by the method of controlling the interaction of transport links.
