Results of research on expanding the functionality of KamAZ family cars

Currently, one of the most used energy vehicles in the Russian Federation are KamAZ family cars. They are especially widespread in agricultural production during the transportation of various goods both inside and outside the farm. In the farms of the Amur region, taking into account the difficult climatic conditions of the region, KAMAZ four-wheel drive vehicles, both on-board and dump trucks, have found wide use, which is explained by their increased traction properties compared to other cars, which is especially important when operating equipment in the spring and autumn period on roads with weak load-bearing capacity, in the presence of snow cover or ice in winter. At the same time, when operating on unpaved agricultural and special roads, on which large washouts, deep potholes of the road surface or destruction of road clothes are observed during the off-season, the movement of these cars is difficult due to the failure of the wheels, which causes the movement of cargo on the body platform, and this, in turn, reduces the lateral stability of the car. The article presents the results of research on increasing the lateral stability of the car by installing an additional device that allows you to redistribute the weight between the movers located on the same axis in motion.
