Assessment of the adaptive potential of tomato |
|
|
A comparative study of the response of different tomato varieties to the action of various growth regulators has been carried out. Treatment with growth regulators increases the yield of tomato. The best in productivity tomato varieties and the best growth regulators for individual varieties have been identified. An assessment of the adaptive ability and stability of different tomato varieties when using growth regulators on them was carried out. Two varieties of tomato (Dubrava and Dar Zavolzhya) were identified, which are characterized by high indicators of general and specific adaptive ability, low variability of response to external influences, high breeding value of the genotype and high productivity. The method of genetic analysis is promising for use in multifactorial experiments to assess the genotype for practical purposes.
