Ecological and resource characteristics of Xanthium albinum (Widder) H. Scholz and related species on the riverine sands of Khopra |

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that Xanthium albinum (Elbe durnishnik) is a valuable source of biologically active substances. The habitats are described with the indication of geographical coordinates. It is established that the accompanying species in the phytocenoses of the riverine sands of the Khoper River and its right tributary of the Karai are ecologically plastic and have several types of economic values, primarily medicinal and fodder. It is shown that the potential resource significance of the species X. albinum is quite high. Its ability to form powerful thickets can be used to obtain bioresource raw materials of about 6 tons.
