Assessment of the ecological state of the soil cover in the zone of influence PJSC «Korshunovsky GOK» |

The work is devoted to the ecological assessment of the state of the soil cover in the zone of influence of the Ore mine of the Korshunovskiy mining and processing plant. The assessment was carried out based on the results of phytotesting using Lepidium sativum L., Sinapis alba, Triticum vulgare L., data on the content of heavy metals in the soil. The concentration of gross forms of heavy metals was used to calculate the total indicator and the potential environmental risk of pollution. As a result, the greatest negative impact on the test plants of soil samples taken at sites of 100 m, 1000 m and 5000 m from rock dumps was noted. These areas are characterized by high concentration ratios of lead, cadmium, iron and manganese, higher values of the total and potential environmental risk of pollution by heavy metals.
