Productivity of new potato varieties in the conditions of the Central Non-Chernozem region

In a single-factor field experiment, the most productive and complexly stable new potato varieties produced by AGRICO U. A. and LANTMANNEN SW SEED BV were identified in the conditions of the Central Region of the Non-Chernozem zone of the Russian Federation. In the experiment, 6 varieties of different precocity were studied: 1) Impala, early-maturing (control), 2) Arizona, mid-early 3) Excelence, mid-early, 4) Evolution, mid-early, 5) Fontane, mid-maturing, 6) Alouette, mid-maturing. As a control, the more common Impala variety is taken. Cultivation was carried out according to the Dutch technology with row spacing of 75 cm, standing density of 43.3 thousand/ha, using the recommended set of machines. It was revealed that the highest yield is formed by the Impala variety (control), which, on average for 3 years (2018 – 2020), accumulated 41.6 t / ha, which is 1.9 (Evolution) - 14.6 (Alouette) t/ha more tubers than other varieties. The highest yield of dry matter for an average of 2 years (2019 – 2020) was distinguished by the varieties Evolution, Fontane and Alouette (65.0 – 69.4 c / ha). These same varieties, together with the Impala variety, had an advantage in starch yield (40.3 – 45.9 c/ha). The maximum yield of crude protein per hectare was in the Evolution variety (6.5 c/ha), which exceeded the control by 19 %.
