Influence of the installation of the perforator-slitter on the distribution of normal soil reactions and the load on the propellers of the semi-ram tractor

A special feature of the design of semi-frame tractors, in contrast to monoblock tractors, is the uneven distribution of the coupling weight. So, if monoblock tractors have the main coupling weight on the rear drive thrusters, then in semi - frame tractors-on the front drive wheels. When operating tractors of this type on soils with low load-bearing capacity, especially in the presence of a solid underlying permafrost layer, in motion, the front wheels, falling through to the permafrost, tear off the upper fertile soil layer, thereby reducing the conditions of adhesion to the soil and the traction properties of the driving rear wheels. At the same time, a deep track is formed, which negatively affects the physical and mechanical characteristics of the soil and the quality of field work. In this connection, based on previous studies, in order to rationally distribute the normal reactions of the soil to the wheel thrusters of a semi-frame tractor, it is proposed to redistribute part of the coupling weight that falls on the front drive wheels to the rear drive wheels by installing a device in the front part of the tractor - a front piercing-slitter. This will allow, due to the occurrence of an additional load from the operation of the proposed device, to redistribute the normal soil reactions between the tractor wheels and improve the implementation of the tractor's power characteristics. The proposed article presents the results of theoretical studies to determine the effect of the design of the front-end perforator-schelerez on the distribution of normal soil reactions to the propellers of a semi-ram tractor and its traction characteristics.
