The strengthening of the silo housing

Taking into account the increase in grain and soybean production, it is necessary to take care of the joint storage of the crop, as well as the export of agricultural products. The purpose of the research is to calculate and strengthen the columns and capitals of the underground floor of the silo and the Foundation plate of the grain Elevator. In accordance with the results of the calculation, recommendations for strengthening the column capitals are given. This article discusses options for calculating the reinforcement of a silo Foundation plate for grain storage. The description of the design solution of the grain Elevator is given. The reasons for the formation of cracks and separation of the protective layer of concrete in silo capitals are considered. The proposed constructive solution to enhance the grain-storage sections of load-bearing structures
