Influence of parents' class on the productive qualities of animals of obrak breed in the Tyumen region
Meat cattle breeding is a resource-saving branch of animal husbandry, and compliance with elements of its technology determines the economic efficiency of the entire industry. Tyumen region has favorable conditions for the development of beef cattle. In our research, we analyzed the influence of the class of parents on the formation of productive qualities of descendants. The results showed that the descendants obtained from parents of a higher class differed in better productivity. At the same time, the class composition of mothers has a significant impact from the milk period, and fathers from the age of one.
